I Grow my Greens hydroponically so that way I have fresh Greens all year round. I love the choice of all kinds and color of Greens.

I like the fact that you can add all kind of healthy homemade salad dressings and toppings. One of my favorite is Grilled Chicken topped with tomatoes, red onion, strawberries and nuts. My favorite salad dressing is sugar free fresh homemade Honey Mustard minus the honey for Low Carbohydrate life style.

I love the versatile uses for this recipe. You can top your greens that you pick up at the store with any kind of grilled, roasted, baked, or even with mixed cold cut meat from the Deli. Throw on your favorite homemade Low Carb salad dressing and you are ready to eat.

Preparation

  1. Lettuce

    Open bagged mixed greens, wash and cut into desired size. Spin with a lettuce spinner. Cut the cucumber, onion, and tomato. Mix together and toss to blend.

  2. Chicken
    • Slice Chicken to desired thickness and place on top of salad mix.
    • Add salad dressing of choice, or use one of my recipes to make your own.
