    I like to plan my meals weekly, so I know what I am going to have ahead of time. I want to know what I have on hand, so I don’t have to run out to the store. Sometimes I will switch the meal days around and that is fine because I still have the ingredients on hand. Below you will find a blank menu on hand, so you can print it out for your family.

    Are you a New Orleans Saints Fan?

    Yes I am. I have been a Fan most of my life and really can hardly wait for Game Day. I also have a lot of game day recipes.

    Do you exercise?

    I try to walk 2 miles 3 times a week for energy, and to walk my dog Ginger as well. I used to run 5 miles 4 times a week but blew my knee out, so I decided it was time for me to walk.

    Do you snack?

    Yes, I do snack. I eat Rebel Ice Cream or make my own. I snack on the crackers that I make with low-carb dip, Guacamole, or Salsa.

    How do you even get started blogging?!

    You make a plan and jump in with both feet.

    What kitchen tools do you recommend for someone just starting a healthy diet?

    Definitely, you need an instant pot 8qt. An air Fryer is great too for roasted veggies. A grill.

    Can I swap ingredients in your recipes?

    If the ingredients can be swapped, I will have the swaps listed in the recipe.

    What are some of your short cuts that you buy from grocery stores?

    Yes, do have shortcuts. Buy precooked Rotisserie Chicken for a lot of my recipes, like burritos. I buy Mission Carb Balance Burrito wraps from Sam's Club. There is a page called Tips and Tricks with more information.

    What do you use to edit your photos?

    I use several programs like PhotoPea, Paint, and Canva free.
