Low Carb French Fries

These French Fries are so good. For someone who is low-carb, these are so good.

They go great with burgers. I got this recipe from Heavenly Fan on YouTube and the

only thing that I changed was adding the Potato flavoring. She makes these with almond

flour, and coconut flour, but the measurements are different depending on which flour is used.

I have her video below.

  1. Add Ingredients

Add Almond Flour and Xanthan Gum to a bowl. Give it a quick mix. Add hot water and stir with a spatula, and then switch to using your hand to make a ball. Once you have made a ball, sit in the bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, place on a dough mat and place wrap on top of the ball. Roll out the dough to about a 1/4 inch and using a knife cut dough into french fry shapes but not too thick.

  2. Frying

I used Avocado oil for frying the fries. Heat the oil to low to medium-low heat. Place fries a few at a time, being sure they don't touch and fry, turning until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel or brown paper bag. Dip in sugar-free ketchup or sauce of choice.

Note

You can make these up and freeze them for later, just like real fries. I lay them out on a pan and place them in the freezer for a couple of hours and then place them in a plastic bag to place them in the freezer.
