Carb Wraps

Instructions

Preparing The Wraps

  1. ADD OIL AND SALT

I use a whole pack of the wraps at a time, so I can cut them all at 1 time. Brush the top of the first wrap and sprinkle it with salt. Turn it over, start a new stack and repeat the oil and salt. Proceed with the same procedure, starting the second wrap and placing it on top of the first wrap. Continue until all the wraps are finished.

  2. CUTTING THE WRAPS

While still in the stack proceed to cut the stack into 8 sections. Each wrap will make 8 large crackers.

  3. COOKING

Now this is the important part to get them crispy. Don't use a plate! Use a paper towel. Lay 8 sections and place them on the paper towel and put them in the microwave. Every microwave is different so start with 1 minute and if necessary cook for another 30 to 35 seconds. let them cool for about a minute and test to see if they are crispy enough. They will crisp up more the longer they cool.

Note

These crackers will get more crispy as they cool and will stay crispy if you put them in a Zip-Lock bag. The Olive oil is not listed in the Nutritional Facts.

Just imagine the possibilities, like using Ranch or Pop Corn seasonings. If using seasonings, be careful that you don't use too much kosher salt.

These also make for the perfect saltine crackers to use with Low-Carb Chili or Soup.
